In addition to Ceramics and Porcelain finishes, we specialise in the provision and fit out of Natural Stone materials such as limestone, marble, granite, Mosaic, Slate and Travertine. Available in a broad range of colours, patterns, finishes, textures and ideally suited for floor reception areas, stair treads & risers, vanity tops, walls, including feature walls. The adhesives and grouts used for natural stone vary depending upon the type of stone and the surface being covered. Elite Tiling stock a comprehensive range of Norcros, Mapei and Ardex Adhesives and Grouts and a range of sealing and cleaning products suitable for natural stone.
Granite: Is the toughest of all natural stones perfect for vanity tops, fire surrounds, floor and wall tiles. Exterior applications can be polished, honed, flamed, split faced, bush hammered, or otherwise textured with one of many industry applications.
Limestone: Uses range from Corporate fit outs, Hotels, Museums, Monumental buildings, Staircases and Vanity tops. An acrylic-based sealer is required to protect the stones from staining. Some Limestone’s not recommended for WC’s finishes.
Marble: As a construction material, marble is easy to use, clean and maintain. Marble tiles can be applied over almost any surface. They can be cut to fit specific measurements and if well applied are perfectly adaptable to humid environment, reception areas and staircases.
Slate: Versatility in design and construction is limitless and is the material of choice for discerning architects, designers, contractors and builders. Most commonly used for interior floor surfaces and reception floors, slate also serves as a durable and stain resistant vanity top, beautiful pool coping and feature walls.
Travertine: A cross between Limestone and Marble, a sedimentary rock characterised by small pitted holes in the surface and can be purchased, polished with holes filled with resin (honed and filled) or left natural for a more natural rustic finish.
Mosaic: Offers a versatile blend of colours & designs, because of the large choice available they can be used in any room and utilised as borders, splashbacks or used to tile a full wall or floor installation including columns circular or square.
